Jessica '18 is an English and chemistry double major on the pre-pharmaceutical track who is the first of her family to attend college. She is working towards a career in pharmaceuticals and feels that Wesleyan has truly prepared her for life after graduation.
FATIMA KHAN
Fatima graduated in 2017 with majors in international relations and biology. While taking time off before heading to graduate school she has worked with several non-profit organizations in the fields of human rights and community organizing. Fatima also interned for six months with the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
Nursing Program Director Fritz and nursing faculty annually take a group of senior nursing students to Jamaica for a week-long medical mission trip. The group visits and assists patients at hospitals and at children’s homes. Students describe the experience as “life changing.”
Associate Professor of Music Michael McGhee produced a CD of solo organ music, Tapestry, recorded in Wesleyan’s Porter Auditorium on the College’s historic Aeolian organ. Featured on the national broadcast of the Pipedreams, airing on about 145 NPR stations across the country.
Nicola is a summa cum laude graduate who studied studio art, AMC, and film and media at Wesleyan. She began her career as a children’s clothing designer for Target. Today Nicola is a fashion designer for Abercrombie Fitch. In 2009 she founded Le Fashion Lab, a fashion school in Atlanta.
