I was excited to transfer to Wesleyan when I came for my first visit and heard all of the resources provided and how an internship was a requirement. A lot of people attend college and don’t partake in the career, Wesleyan ensures you at least attempt. Wesleyan has helped me grow in my ability to professionally communicate. I am appreciative of the push to go to career fairs and to improve my resume. Transferring here has been a welcoming, eye opening experience that I’m happy to be a part of.
What I enjoyed the most about transferring to Wesleyan was how welcomed I was by students as well as the faculty and staff. Despite being a small campus, the community is so warm and supportive. I was taken in immediately and greeted with smiles the second I came on campus. Being an athlete also made the transition easier. My teammates always respect and uplift me every opportunity they have.
