Research Agenda:
Tamara's research explores how race, gender, and class shape literacy experiences in and beyond K–12 schools, especially for marginalized communities. She also focuses on preparing teachers to use culturally sustaining practices and engage in research that is transformative, humanizing, and decolonizing.
